EPC Services - Construction Services by Good Value Solutions

EPC Services

End-to-end Engineering, Procurement, and Construction services for complex projects, delivering turnkey solutions with excellence.

Good Value Solutions provides end-to-end EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services for complex infrastructure and energy projects across India. Our EPC division delivers turnkey solutions where we assume complete responsibility from initial feasibility study through final commissioning, providing clients with a single point of accountability and predictable project outcomes.

The EPC model is particularly valuable for technically complex projects where coordinating multiple independent contractors creates risk. By integrating engineering design, material procurement, and construction execution under one management team, we eliminate the coordination gaps, finger-pointing, and schedule slippages that plague multi-contractor approaches. Our clients get a fixed timeline, a defined budget, and a single team responsible for delivering the completed facility.

Solar power plant construction is a major focus of our EPC practice. Our flagship project — a 50 MW ground-mounted solar power plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan — demonstrates our capability to deliver utility-scale renewable energy projects. We handle the complete lifecycle: site assessment and solar irradiance analysis, system design including module selection, inverter sizing, and tracking system specification, balance-of-system engineering, procurement of panels, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical equipment, civil and structural construction, electrical installation and grid interconnection, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring. Our solar EPC capability covers projects from 100 kW rooftop installations to 50 MW+ ground-mounted plants.

Industrial facility construction is another core EPC capability. We design and build manufacturing plants, processing facilities, and industrial infrastructure with integrated utilities, material handling systems, and environmental compliance features. Our engineering team has expertise in structural steel and RCC construction, heavy equipment foundations, industrial flooring, crane runway design, and process utility systems.

Infrastructure projects including road construction, utility installations, water treatment facilities, and institutional buildings round out our EPC portfolio. Each project benefits from our standardized project management methodology, which includes critical path scheduling, earned value tracking, and comprehensive risk management.

Risk management is fundamental to our EPC delivery model. Every project includes comprehensive insurance coverage (construction all-risk, third-party liability, and professional indemnity), performance bank guarantees, contingency budgets (typically 5-10% of project value), and clearly defined milestone-based payment structures. Our quality assurance protocol includes third-party inspections at critical milestones, material testing and certification, and adherence to relevant IS/ISO standards.

Procurement optimization is a significant value driver in EPC projects. Our established vendor network across India enables competitive pricing on major materials and equipment. For solar projects, we have direct procurement relationships with tier-1 module and inverter manufacturers. For industrial projects, we source structural steel, specialized equipment, and MEP systems through a competitive bidding process managed by our procurement team, ensuring the best combination of quality, price, and delivery schedule.

Our EPC project range spans from Rs 50 lakhs for smaller industrial facilities to Rs 280 crores for utility-scale solar plants. Pricing is determined through detailed engineering estimates after the feasibility study phase, with fixed-price contracts available for clients requiring budget certainty. Milestone-based payment structures are standard, with payments tied to verified deliverables.

Post-commissioning, we offer comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts. For solar plants, our O&M services include panel cleaning, inverter maintenance, vegetation management, performance monitoring, and warranty claim management, backed by performance guarantees. For industrial facilities, we provide annual maintenance contracts covering all building systems.

Every EPC project carries our standard warranty package: 10-year structural, 5-year waterproofing, 2-year MEP systems. Solar projects additionally include 25-year performance warranties backed by equipment manufacturer guarantees and our own maintenance commitments.

Our Process

1

Feasibility Study

Comprehensive project feasibility assessment including site evaluation, technical viability analysis, regulatory requirements mapping, preliminary cost estimation, and risk assessment. For solar projects, includes solar irradiance analysis and energy yield simulation.

2

Engineering Design

Detailed engineering including structural design, electrical single-line diagrams, MEP layouts, civil drawings, and system specifications. Design reviews with client at 30%, 60%, and 90% completion stages. Final design package includes bill of quantities and detailed project schedule.

3

Procurement

Strategic procurement of all materials, equipment, and systems through competitive bidding from vetted vendors. Includes vendor qualification, technical evaluation, commercial negotiation, quality inspection at manufacturer facilities, and logistics coordination for delivery to site.

4

Construction

On-site construction execution following the approved design and schedule. Includes civil work, structural erection, equipment installation, MEP systems, and specialized installations. Daily progress tracking, weekly client reporting, and monthly review meetings.

5

Commissioning

Systematic testing and commissioning of all systems. For solar plants: string testing, inverter commissioning, grid synchronization, and performance testing. For industrial facilities: equipment testing, utility system verification, safety system validation, and trial runs.

6

Performance Monitoring

Post-commissioning performance monitoring period to verify system performance against design specifications. Handover of as-built documentation, O&M manuals, training for client staff, and transition to long-term operations and maintenance support.

The EPC model works because it aligns incentives. When one team owns the design, the procurement, and the construction, there is no room for finger-pointing between contractors. Problems get solved faster because the same team that designed the system is building it. Our 50 MW solar plant in Jaisalmer was delivered in 10 months precisely because our engineering, procurement, and construction teams operated as a single integrated unit.
